Mission is to rebuild and restore the infrastructure of the Sacramento / San Joaquin River Delta as the pilot project. This headwaters area is a potential financial, social and environmental disaster. The area provides water to 25 million people in Southern and Central California, and could become flooded with salty ocean water as a result of a 6.4 or higher earthquake in or near San Francisco, or as the result of a major winter storm.
